ehm... I trust you but I must admit that I don't see the point. I mean, amule 2.0.0rc8 worked just fine with that stuff...

And what will assure me that all the other programs using those libraries will go on working?

i'll tell you, I'm reinstalling amule2.0.0rc8... thank you :-)

then the rc8 rpms where NOT from OUR dl page...
because overwise it would NOT have worked...

Uhm... well, I got them from apt-get :-)
Anyway, in a couple of days a suitable rpm from apt will be available, I guess :-)

maybe.. :)

problem is fedora folks build it against their "patched" wx-rpms

but those patched wx-rpms dont work with an amule-rpm which was build against the "clean" wx-rpms from wxWidgets

Oh, now I see. Hope it won't take too long for them to release a suitable rpm... i'm looking forward to trying the amule 2.0.0 final :-)
