I am having a problem here. With aMule 2.0.1 from time to time (about 10 minutes) i have the process "fam" eating all my cpu for about 30 seconds, and all my active downloads stops. It doenst happen with aMule rc8.
I know its amule cause i run aMule using the user "emule".
Here is the "top" output:

If your computer is a normal home computer, you may disable the fam service. It's simply a service to keep monitoring modified files, and to have logs about that in the case of an intrusion to your server, but in a home computer it is not useful, and it can be very resource-hungry.

i tried kill the process, and really everythingis running perfectly.
