Manually add a source
« on: November 06, 2005, 04:35:52 PM »

EMule allows you to add manually a source when you are downloading a file? Could aMule do the same?
Thanks, Gio

You can already do that by adding the file an additional time through an ed2k link that contains the source(s), eg. "ed2k://|file|Some.File.rar|12345|ABCABCABCABCABCABACBACBACBACBACB|/|sources,127.0.0.1:4662|/" (Obviously, you can create a link like this yourself by copying the link for your shared file and then adding the IP and the port information manually.)

This might not be very convenient but the basic functionality is already there. :)
