Hi
Ive got a progress bar which started a dark blue
and now ive downloaded 12mb there is a thin hair stripe of red in it
about 1/3 of the way along the bar.
Both Getting Started and FAQS give contradictory explanations of
the definition of RED in a progress bar.
In Getting Started red is stated as meaning:
1. represents files you are currently downloading
2. no known sources that provide this part
In FAQS:
1. chunks of red = no sources found in current session.
2. Beware of files that have parts marked in red, since it means that no-one has that part of the file and you most likely wont be able to complete the download.
Okay so the info leans in favour of suggesting that the appearance of any red what so ever in a blue bar means that part of the whole file remains undetected in all the sources.
BUT
It also means in Getting Started/1 above, that red in a blue bar represents the current amount of the whole file you have completed or are currently downloading.
I know i'm most probably being dumb, but it's still not clear to first timers like myself, and i dont want to give up on a file for the wrong reasons...................
In the event that the hair-pin stripe of red in my dark blue bar means part of the whole file remains undetected, is it worth hanging on and downloading anyway (say in the case of a film) & may it show up later on in the download process

??
Any ideas please........tnx
