aMule and eMule config file

Hi everybody !

I want to known if config file of aMule and eMule are the same thing ?

I currently use eMule under WinXP, but in 2 weeks I will have a Mac with MacOSX, in my search on google a see that aMule have a Mac version.

So, I want to known if I can copy my eMule folder into aMule folder without loss my current download ?

you can copy your download, and your credit files but not the actuall config file.

Hi, secathor.  Congrats on the new Mac.  :)

When you get your Mac, download aMule (use the latest CVS build from here) and run it once just so it creates its configuration directory.  Then, quit it.

Now, navigate to Home -> Library -> Application Support -> aMule.  This is aMule's configuration directory.  You should be able to copy everything from eMule's configuration directory to there.

Then, run aMule.  Go through the preferences and make sure everything is set up the way you want it.  From there, it should all work fine.
