filerating: is "fair" really better than "good"?
« on: February 06, 2006, 03:08:30 PM »

hi,
is it a bug, or better a topic for the smalltalk? - who knows... ?(

Anyway, I'm a bit confused about the "fair" on the filerating, because, for some reason, the filerating of "fair" at least for me is not very intuitive, more precisely it even is weird somehow. In the filerating popup, "fair" appears between "good" and "excellent", meaning, that it classifies something better than good, but worse than excellent (as it also is explained in the wiki).

but usually, "fair" means something like "acceptable" or "satisfactory", an average quality, afaik. :]
shouldn't it be ranked between "good" and "poor" in the rating, not between "good" and "excellent"? ?(

Yep, that's a bug. I think I posted that some time ago, but then forgot to follow up on it.
