never used emule or amule

Hi. I am a mac user, OSX 10.3.9     I have never used emule or amule.
I have been trying to run amule for a couple hours but cant manage to get a list of servers... When I put, in the server list field of the ED2K page:

http://corpo.free.fr/server.met.

and hit the blue arrow, I get a message telling me  failed todownload the server list.

At all time, amule is in the non connected status (red arrows)

any suggestions??    my ports seems to work fine....
