Where can I get aMuleCMD for Win32?
« on: January 04, 2006, 11:08:17 AM »

Does anyone have amulecmd.exe on win32?
I need it to add ed2k links to aMule on remote computer when I click ed2k links in web browers on Windows. (Since aMuleGUI doesn't take ed2k link from command line....)

Need your help, please.

In its default setup, Windows XP on the Internet amounts to a car
parked in a bad part of town, with the doors unlocked, the key in
the ignition and a Post-It note on the dashboard saying, "Please
don't steal this."

Is there a way to install this tool as link handler for the internet explorer ? That would be great, no copy & paste anymore  ;)

will this function be included in the remote gui ?

I decided to trace the codes of aMule and write a small tool to do such job.

Here is the product: http://ku.myftp.org/goods/aMuleLinkHandler.zip

I tested it on Windows XP and it works fine for me.

Good luck.

It does not work for me. I used it this way

aMuleLinkHandler.exe  /h myserver /P mypasswword /i

Then I started the internet explorer and triedto add an ed2k Link. But no download appeared in my list. What did I do wrong ? ?(

Hi, it works for me on amuled on a remote box.

Did a aMuleLinkHandler.exe -i
and then i searched the new registry key (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ed2k\shell\open\command & HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\ed2k\shell\open\command) and changed the paramters. For me -> /h 192.168.0.1 /p 4712 /m ******************************** %l"
(I took the encrypted password out of my amule.conf.)
For Opera i did this on the ed2k protocol ->
C:\Program Files\aMule\gui\aMuleLinkHandler.exe /h 192.168.0.1 /p 4712 /m ******************************* %l

Bye

It's working fine for me now. I'm using aMule Version 2.1.1. Sorry for the delay, too.  :] :D
