emule crashes due to huge file downloading
« on: October 07, 2021, 07:13:36 AM »

Hi,
my emule is crashing I believe because it is downloading a huge file.
When I start emule, if I stop it from being connected, it doesnt crash, but when it connects to a server, and this checkings start I believe that it tries to check that file (total size 21.xxx GB total downloaded size 18.xxx GB) it gets all memory (around 7x% or 8x-9x%) and CPU (around 98% or 9x%) until finally crashes and the process gets killed.
Im using:
Fedora release 33 (Thirty Three)
58261Linux whatever.whateverdomain 5.14.9-100.fc33.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Sep 30 12:45:49 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Acer V5-552G
8GB ram
2Gb memory dedicated to AMD radeon hd 8750m
CPU ADM A10 quad-core
hd 1tb ssd

Swapon -s
/dev/sda9                                 partition   15774716   166816   -2
/dev/zram0                                partition   3779580   836068   100

aMule 2.3.3

Please some help ?  woudl be highly appreciated
