source saving & restoring
« on: June 04, 2006, 06:43:19 PM »

I'm just wondering if source saving (@ amuled close) and restoring (# amuled startup) is working or not...

I've shutted down amuled (CVS 20060530) and many lines as following are written:

Code: [Select]
...
2006-06-04 18:05:35: Saved 1 sources seeds for partfile: /enkey/temp/011.part.met (xxx)
2006-06-04 18:05:35: Saved 1 sources seeds for partfile: /enkey/temp/081.part.met (xxx)
2006-06-04 18:05:35: Saved 2 sources seeds for partfile: /enkey/temp/066.part.met (xxx)
2006-06-04 18:05:35: Saved 2 sources seeds for partfile: /enkey/temp/045.part.met (xxx)
2006-06-04 18:05:35: Saved 4 sources seeds for partfile: /enkey/temp/053.part.met (xxx)
...

Then I've downloaded amuled CVS 20060603 and I've executed it. Fastly run amulegui and looking into trasfer window, I can see no source previously saved been loaded.

is it a missing feature of amuled (that works in amule) or is it a bug?

Cheers,
Sandro

Works fine here (monolithic amule), but you should be aware that amule only uses them if it is restarted after a short period of time (I have 30 minutes floating around in my head, but that could be wrong). If the seeds are older they are dismissed.

mh, strange since usually once I've shutted down amuled, donwloaded new version, started it up, hardly half an hour is passed...

Anyhow, I'll check better net time (but I think there is even a version controll, not only a timely controll)
