os: Ubuntu Dapper
amule version: cvs 2007-09-26 + amuled
Kad ONLY !

1. running the above amule setup I'm unable to find ANY files that would be larger than 4gb! If I paste an ed2khash that is say 6gb, the file is added to 'downloads', but no download is happening !

2. when running with ed2k-enabled and connected to a server I can get some downloads going... THEN if I switch to Kad-Only again then again I'm unable to get any downloads, but having previously downloaded some data via ed2k-server-connection I can see that other users are capable of uploading from me ! (possibly emule users with correct kad-only implementation for over 4gb files?)

THE BUG ITSELF (kad-only):
- inability to download/search for files over 4gb in size...
- possible to upload files over 4gb in size (if some data was previously download with ed2k-server-connection)

so as it stands, the 'kad-only' scenario for running amule with files over 4gb is broken and not working AT ALL...
I sincerely hope this will get fixed in the 2.2.0 final ?

Let me second that. Unfortunately, my gdb doesn't give any *usable* backtrace. amuled starts ok, but *presumably* as soon as somebody tries to download something, the application stops. In order to share files, I have to disable KAD. Hopefully this problem gets adressed before the last server dies away.
