Error 7: Disconnecting client
« on: July 29, 2004, 09:41:09 AM »

Recently upgraded to aMule.rc5. Pretty good, but I've noticed I get loads of the following errors in the server window:

29/07/04 13:56:04: Client " Joe Blogs (IP:173.34.24.56) caused an error: 7. Disconnecting client!

The most recent time I opened amule, I get so many of these errors that I can hardly connect to people in order to upload, let alone download!

Cheers.

In its default setup, Windows XP on the Internet amounts to a car
parked in a bad part of town, with the doors unlocked, the key in
the ignition and a Post-It note on the dashboard saying, "Please

Do what stefanero said and don't worry about those clients. They are either bad mods which are banned on most other ed2k clients (so don't upload/download on other ed2k clients either) or a client with a bug in the netwrok protocol.
So, don't worry about those cleints being diconnected ;)
Greetings!
