Error compiling under win32
« on: May 02, 2005, 01:00:04 PM »

Hi,
I'm trying to compile amulegui under WinXP.
I've compiled wx and zlib statically.

This is the output of ./configure --enable-amule-gui --with-zlib=/local/

Any suggestion?
Compilation of wxwidgets only reported one warning: "disabling wxdisplay", but I think it's normal (I'm compiling under mingw32).

Thank you,
Daniele

hey

I had same compile problems under mingw before, use this:
./configure --without-checklistbox --disable-shared --disable-compat22 --disable-wave --disable-fraction --disable-mdi --disable-joystick

for wx-2.6, this shoudl fix it, (thnx to Xaignar ;) )

this solved my compile issues with amule and amule-gui

I compiled wx-2.6.0 with --with-msw --disable-shared  --enable-unicode
and amule with --enable-optimize --disable-debug --enable-amule-gui
and no problems.
(well, gcc-3.4.2)
(and well, with cryptopp-5.2.1, not the embedded one)

Only the --disable-shared and --without-checklistbox are needed, the rest are just to avoid compiling stuff we wont be using anyway :P

The embedded Crypto++ is 5.2.1.

Thank you everybody,
compiling wxwidgets with --without-checklistbox --disable-shared --disable-compat22 --disable-wave --disable-fraction --disable-mdi --disable-joystick worked fine.
Now I can't connect to my amuled...but this is another problem :)
amuled reports "accepted external connection", but amulegui doesn't show anything and returns to the login screen after a few seconds...

Thank you,
Daniele

The embedded Crypto++ is 5.2.1.
Well, but at first the embedded didn't compile because of the compile time asserts you kindly removed, and the external did. Later I didn't bother switching back to the embedded one...
