Since I use aMule and not the daemon to test the connection issue I have enabled the overhead information.
At first it seems to work when the overhead was very low but it shows something between 0.3 and 3.5 KB. After some hours the upload overhead ist constant 83886.5 KB with little changings. The download overhead still changes between the normal values.
In statistics my upload overhead should be total 3.26 GB and the file request overhead 3.24 GB. The total download overhead is "only" normal  27.34 MB.

I use aMule CVS 20050506. After over 20 hours the total upload overhead in statistics is 11.10 GB and the actual upload overhead 251658.8 KB.
The download overhead is still normal.
