Corruption loop :)
« on: February 11, 2006, 04:33:53 PM »

Hello,

The other day I looked at my downloads and found something rather amusing: a client kept sending me the same corrupted chunk (each time dropped/recovered by AICH) until I eventually stopped and resumed the download.

The loop "lasted" for 70 megs worth of download before I took notice :)

I don't know if this qualifies for a bug, but it is at least an unsuspected behaviour ;)

What do you think of rejecting transfers from a client after it sent an arbitrary number of corrupted data ?

I do not have the logs anymore (the forum was still read only at this time), but it was only a large bunch of AICH drop/recovery messages anyway.

This corner case apart, I did not experienced any problems with aMule 2.1.0, many thanks for your awesome work :)
