Hi,
I have amuled and amuleweb working on my ubuntu linux box.
I can use web mule from my windows box, but remote gui won't work.

When i launch it, i get the dialog box for login.. but when i click on "connect" the dialog disappear and nothing more.
I see amulegui.exe in the running processes list, but nothing happens.

When i launch gui with --verbose i get an error just after launching it.

but when i click on "connect" the dialog disappear and nothing more

This is known bug (windows only): happen when connection to remote core fails for any reason. Make sure you entering correct host/port/pass.

I known, that it's not an excuse, but building win MinGW under vmware is full of pain and horror.

I'm 100% sure of host/port/password.
I tried with local ip adress (connecting from a lan computer), with the isp ip adress and domain name (connecting from a distant computer).

I tried that on 3 different computers.

The log errors happen before connection, so this part is supposed to be normal?

Post log from amule core (gui or daemon, whatever you running). You should see something about connection request.
If, on the other hand, log contain nothing about incoming EC connection - you have either
1. Entered wrong host/port
2. Firewall prevented access.
