I'm not sure if this is the place, or if this issue is already known, (I searched) but here it goes

The thing is: my aMule kept freezing after an apparently random period of time. The process became either zombie (defunct) or in "Disk Sleep" (D state). Same thing happened with amuled.
After trying a lot of things I confirmed that it happened shortly after one or more of the files from the shared folders in the windows NTFS partition (read only) started uploading.
Now I only share folders in the linux partition, and it hasn't frozen again in several days, so I'm quite sure about this. (My incoming and temp folders have always been in the linux partition, btw)
My aMule version, taken from the aMule log:
This is aMule 2.1.1 using wxGTK2 v2.6.3 (Unicoded) based on eMule.
Running on Linux 2.6.12-12mdk i686 <<< Mandriva Linux 2006
As extra info, the partition is mounted with charset iso8859-1, but there are no "unstandard" characters like accents or ñ, etc, in the filenames.
Is this a known bug and I have something broken, and can do something about it, or is it "new"?
If it's new, should I do a bug report at the bug tracker? I don't have any kind of backtrace, mainly because it just freezes, usually in Disk Sleep, having, apparently, no way to kill the process.
