Limited number of KAD clients after Debian Etch upgrade
« on: November 25, 2006, 08:14:46 PM »

Hi,

I am experiencing the very strange Kademlia behaviour - I have a very limited number of connections (between 6-8) and its is not growing.

After clicking "Bootstrap from known clients" number of connections jumps to around 20-30 and after 5 minuts decreases back to original number (6-8).

This started after upgrading to Debian Etch and aMule 2.1.3 (from Debian distribution). Earlier, I was able to get more than 300 peers connected. Please, note I have fully firewalled connection (LowID and Kad Firewalled)

I believe problem might be either related to bug in aMule or some additional alternations (network configuration ???) in Debian Etch I am not able to locate at the moment.

Thanks for any help / hints how to find out more about this issue ?

Regards
B.
