Port Forwarding ...
« on: April 09, 2009, 04:01:40 AM »

Is there a current tutorial for Port Forwarding for a mac w/ 10.5.6?

I have an old one, but the Mac OS has changed in the last few years, regarding a static ip.

Shouldn't port forwarding be done in router, not in OS? Maybe you are talking about firewall?

Schema:
Internet -----> Router (Might even have inner firewall) ------> Firewall -----> Programs.

I had a complete tutorial, including a series of pictures, in an earlier mac OS quite a while back, but w/ my current mac OS things have changed quite a bit, so I cannot follow the previous tutorial, which means i can't do Port Forwarding & can't have a static IP.

Any help is much appreciated.
