it's seems that razorbak opened another port for users and a client did a change with that port :

Pour tous ceux qui ont ce problème (comme moi), je vous conseille la mule MorphXT disponible ICI qui contient le "patch lugdunum" pour se connecter sur le port auxiliaire de Razor.

Les recherches avec ce mod sont quasi-instantanées icon_smile.gif

translation : For all who have the problem (like myself) i advice you to use the client MorphXT which contain the "patch lugdunum" to connect to the auxiliary port of Razorbak...

i'm looking for informations about that port (and the mod) but would it be possible to have a feature like that in future rc of amule???  :baby:

feel free to anwear  :))

The auxiliary port is a feature that permits clients to connect to usual ports (normaly 80/http, 443/https) in servers that have said feature on, and and so bypassing very restrictive firewall/proxy rules.

Only clients with said patch are allowed, because they dont send such ports to other clients when comunicating (at least that is one of the rules, there may be more, didnt saw the patch).

Why it affects the search is a mistery for me  ?(

Yours? No, just another connection (unless you are behind a http proxy), but means that the server cant have a normal webserver, among another things.

I wonder how does that feature works with the web proxys  8o (see webcache thread)
