amule 2.0.1 problem with forwarded ports
« on: June 19, 2005, 08:11:53 PM »

I and my friend have port forwarded on our server to get HighID and it worked. But when both of us download sth he gets everything and my transfers go down to 0 kb/s. But when he turn his amule off my transfers go immediately up.

ports forwarded to my host:
tcp  4664
udp 4672

my friend host forwarded ports:
tcp 4662
udp 4666

I post this in bug section because I think that my problem require developers knowledge :D

bartek,

Very strange, but only you can find out why. Try using ethereal and see what is happening.

Cheers!

you both have a hardware-router (dlink, smc....) infront of your nat-network? or a linux router?
