amuleweb guest login(debian/ vollstrecker- binaries)
« on: December 16, 2005, 07:03:00 PM »

got newest CVS form vollstrecker-binaries on Ubuntu machine.

when connecting to webserver and loggin in I get this message when trying to search or do  things like cancel, preferences,... :
Code: [Select]
You logged in as guest - commands are disabledI´ m getting this, using the php-default template, on default and chicane I dont but this all didnt work here, for example searching and changing prefs, gives no results and for cancel, change priority, ... theres no option.
(there is nothing in the logfile on this)

This all sounds like limited access, but this is disabled.
How can I make the user login as admin on webinterface?

regards,
bernd

well there is a password for

admin
which is in amule.conf -> Password or in remote.conf -> AdminPassword

and tehre is a guest login
whcih is in amule.conf -> PasswordLow or in remote.conf -> GuestPassword
(I think not sure about teh 2nd)

so if you have for example setup the same password for both admin and guest, you will automaticall end up with guest rights, which wont let you change anything

I changed those passwords, as stefanero described and it works. Changing this in amule Preferences dosnt help.

You have to enter admin password on login.

No matter what choice will be - there always will be someone who will find it wrong.

ok. seems to be chicane´s fault. default and php-default are able to sort downloadlist.
Is there a way to get this working on chicane?  like thisone more
