Hey,
I am using Fedora Core 1 with your software. The first version I installed was 1.2.4. After searching for a particular file and choosing to download it, aMule 1.2.4 crashed and left the following backtrace:
[0] amule [0x81609e9]

[7] /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0 [0x8fe7fc]
[8] /lib/tls/libc.so.6(__clone+0x5a) [0x74baba]
When, I tried to start the program again, it crashed with this same backtrace. The root user can use the program just fine.
Checking out your site, I saw that you released a new version, so I updated using "rpm -Uvh" (I've also tried removing the old and installing the new version fresh w/ "rpm- ivh") Once again, under the original user, the program crashed on startup leaving THIS backtrace:

This one might be a little more informative. I think it may have something w/ the file that I was attempting to download. However, I'm not sure how I can retrieve the FileID for you or how to remove it from my system. It was supposed to be an issue of 2600: "The Hacker Quarterly" I think Vol. 18 #1. Although, I can't be entirely sure on that, and I'm not sure if they'll be other copies out there.
