hmm.. I meant, how comes aMule 1.2.1 uploads without a problem with those settings and recent versions won't?
Anyway, for a quick update and confirmation: chunks are getting transfered fully and totally valid!!!
Now I will try the official debian package of 1.2.4.. ;)
Keep up your great work!

I do not have provider problems for sure. I ran both aMule versions during the same connection session (running 24/7, so.. :P) 1.2.1 works with those settings, 1.2.3+ not.. Well, I'm going to tweak it a little so I can upload as much as possible :)

There is a much better download code on 1.2.4, and that's probably why you get better upload (about 2Kb/s more) on 1.2.1. But you get much worse download, and unstable.

The better download makes you unable to handle the upload request if your download settings are too high... that might be the problem.
