Уважаемые русскоязычные пользователи Amule.
А почему бы нам не организовать свою ветку форума?
Высказывайтесь.
А то проблем - море, и приходится искать их по разрозненным местам.
-
Sorry, english only in this section.
-
Kry: you may consider to open Russian forum section.
-
Maybe we should create an "other languages" section in the forums, but as most of us don't read Korean, Russian or Arab, it will be pretty hard to moderate it.
-
We can open secions if we have someone to moderate them AND there is enough market for them.
-
I volunteer to moderate the Russian branch if you have a shortage of Russian speakers. ;)
-
daq: What did Loki17 ask?
Regards.

Translation:
Dear Russian speaking amule users,
Why don't we start our own forum branch.
Waiting for your feedback.
There are lots of problems and we have to look for solutions all over the internet.
-
Any news on starting the Russian branch? Admins?

Well, I already said I volunteer to moderate and this thread kinda shows that there's enough market...
-
Does it? I see two users, one of them posted once 6 months ago.

I see no point on opening russian branch. What kind of answers can i get there, when the people who knows them (not to talk about developers) are english-speaking? Or does the purpose of this branch and its moderators would be in translating all the questions posted there?
No, i think to learn english is the better way for russian users.
Короче говоря - фигня все это товарищи....
-
Idea is for people that ONLY speak Russian to be able to ask questions and get help. Learning English is not an option for everyone.
Developers aren't the only ones answering questions.
I just don't see the downside. Even if there is only 2 answered questions in the branch -- it may be worth quite a bit to some people. It doesn't use any server resources and people that don't speak Russian
won't ever go in so it will not add any complexity to the forum.

Thing is, until the answers show up in Google/Yandex there may be zero traffic from people who search in Russian. On the other hand, this is the most natural place to ask questions.

I suggest creating a section for other languages, where Russian and other languages would have a place.
It makes sense to have a section for e.g. Italian or Spanish, because there are many people from these countries and they can support themselves. Heck, even some developers speak their languages.
I mean no offence, but the same can't exactly be said for other languages, like e.g. Finnish, Bulgarian or Russian. What do you think?
-
While it doesn't add that much complexity, the forum administration (whoever is doing that right now, used ot be me) have to monitor all the forum subsections for spam, illegal content and other issues. That's not possible for Russian in this case, and abandoning it with a low post count will only be a honeypot for spammers.

You're right, but that's why I volunteered to moderate.

This is a good idea, this way people can at least ask questions in their language. The only disadvantage is that if you ever decide to branch a specific language out later, it will be next to impossible to sort through. There is a lot of Cyrillic languages.

why don't they begin in the wiki (http://wiki.amule.org)?
