doing hashes of files?

What file hashing and how to disable it ?
-
Files need to be hashed (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptographic_hash_function) before they can be shared or after they've been downloaded, to check integrity. You cannot disable this unless you don't share anything and don't download anything -- but then why using aMule?
It's a one-time procedure, thus if a file has been once hashed aMule won't re-hash it again unless you change the file.
