when it come to exe files and such they won't work on the mac.

as amule and emule both use the kad and edonkey network

you should be able to get the same files jeez both client connect to the same network  none the less if you talking about exe files and such then it not an amule related question

no, i can assure you those are not the same files. I am in front of my two screens, one run by Mac OS X14.3, the other by Windows XP. Amule gets me 184 files for Status Quo, 99,9% of which are songs, i mean 2 Mo to 10 Mo files. Emule gets me 88 responses, 99,9% of which are complete Cds and videos, 40 Mo to 500 Mo each, and just 4 or 5 songs files. How do you explain that ?
Best regards.

It's all about the server you are connected to, the settings you use to search (global VS local) and (I guess) the amount of nodes you have on your nodes.dat (if searching on KAD)

Regards.
