finally it crashed!

amule was running ok for about 9 hours... then i clicked on a file i was downloading and i selected Extended Options > Swap Every A4AF to this file (auto), and then amule stopped responding to mouse inputs... (but it continued downloading). i had to xkill it  :rolleyes:

it might not be the case, but just as a side note:
whenever "amule stopped responding to mouse inputs" happens, make sure no aMule windows (such as the Preferences window, some alert window, the About window, a notice window, warning window... whatever window) are hidden _behind_ aMule or anywere. aMule waits for such windows to be closed. Untill then, aMule's main window keeps unresponsive.
As I said, just as a side note. It might not be the case ;-)
