ChatSelector Debug Alert
« on: March 20, 2005, 07:49:51 PM »

with more recent builds i experience the following:

some time after amule is started a dialog is displayed:
"wxWidgets Debug Alert
ChatSelector.cpp(333): asset failed.
Do you want to stop the program?
You can also choose [Cancel] to suppress further warnings."

if you hit 'cancel' amule continues to run without apparent problems but if you don't hit 'cancel' in time amule seems to self-terminate. so in order to have a stable amule i need to stick around after an amule restart until this message shows up for the first time so i can hit 'cancel' to ignore it on future occasions.

any ideas?

That's good.I'll review the assert.

Can you exec. aMule using gdb and after clicking 'ok' on the assert, give me a bt full?
