Hi all,
First of all, I am new to aMule having switch from Emule and would like to congradulate all the developers here for such a great beast of an application. Works great and gets better as it progresses.
Anyway, this is not a compiling issue but would like to know:
I am running aMule 2.0.2 on ubuntu with wxwidget 2.5 and also running aMule 2.0.2 on fedora Core 3 with wxwidget 2.6 that i compiled from source. Both versions on the different Linux distro works fine. But out of curiousity, is there a difference running aMule under wxwidget 2.6 or 2.5?
Also, i really like Emule (but stop using it when i switched to Linux) and MLdonkey (a bit buggy) not for it's program but because they have an Ed2k link catcher where i can send links from a browser remotely to my machine running the program. After searching high and low, i understand there isn't such program but is someone developing one? I have thought about making such program but my programming skills are very basic.

I know that you can use the aMule web interface or aMulecmd for this purpose but a ED2K link catcher is so much more convenient.
It would be nice to see something like Mldonkey's one as it quite easy to configure. All you have to do is add a few lines to Firefox in the about:config to set it up and then whenever you visit a web page with links, you just need to click on it and the MLDonkey catches the link and adds the download. (here is the little utility:

Thank you,
L
