hello sturedman, hey wuischke,
reading your posts I've looked at the wiki page... again... (after so many time trying to find help there...)
and finally it sunk in how you guys structured it... ok... this might be really dumb on my part:
There's USAGE with all the different topics
and behind those topics there are links for the different languages/translations
I thought it's just avalable in those langages...in fact I never clicked on the link of the topic but tried to work my way through the translated instructions

(it never occured to me... ok this IS really stupid)
wondering why the hack the most basic thing like "using amule" is available only in French... I feel like a true idiot now
But honestly, I thought... ok... maybe it's very heavy on French...maybe many of the developpers are French or I don't now why?!? but hey it's a free app with people working on it in their spare time, so I've got to content myself to whatever is there... (but it's tough in French since it's computer stuff...)
the search function unfortunately didn't pull the infos for me... I've mostly always received:
There is no page titled ":preference". You can create this page.
For more information about searching AMule Project FAQ, see $1.
Showing below 19 results starting with #1.
(still trying to figure out what the "for more information...., see $1."-part means)
because ie "preference" doesn't give me the link straight to
http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/Usage_Preferences but instead to a myriad of stuff like "FAQ eD2k-Kademlia", "Changelog 2.0.0-rc1" etc. I've clicked my way through some of it, received valuable info about other things I wasn't searching and then combed my way through the forum's postings... since the topis above and similar ones are really a bit overwhelming when you start out on amule and are not a techie.
so it's maybe just a question of the main "FAQ" page and what it looks like, and /or it's links look like?? I'm heading off for a trip till Nov., but if I don't offend anybody with this suggestion, I could just give it a try (I mean just to restructure the layout of the page) once I'm back?
-- or maybe it really is just me who couldn't see what's obvious for everybody else?? how embarrassing...
