Hi there!
I use amule in OS debian.
I got a high ID. My settings are:
10kbs upload limit with 2kbs slots and 0 download. 100 max connections.
I am sharing plenty of things.
My network is 1Mb.
Usually I get lots of uploads nicely transferring, but 0 or 1 download at very slow rate.
What I am doing wrong?

Do you get sources for your downloads?  If you get sources and you progress in their queues, then downloads will happen eventually.

If you don't get sources, you may be connected to a fake server.  Try another.

Is that 1Mb symmetrical?  If you have a much lower upload bandwidth, it's conceivable that you're saturating it.

Well, the truth is that is not symmetrical at all (I guess I got 1/3 of upload compared to download). However in the past, it worked well.
Fake server? why?
Now it is working ok again... no idea I  did not change anything from previous parameters...

Certain people and organizations out there want to disrupt p2p file sharing networks.
