« on: June 17, 2006, 05:28:43 PM »

Im really trying to understand why im not getting any downloads recently despite it uploading fine. The programme has been running okay and there hasnt been any reconfiguration... It just seems to have stopped... ;( Im not terrbly MAC literate, i pick up what i can from the sites but im stumped. Maybe theres a simple answer.

In its default setup, Windows XP on the Internet amounts to a car
parked in a bad part of town, with the doors unlocked, the key in
the ignition and a Post-It note on the dashboard saying, "Please
don't steal this."

And to cut to the chase: if everything was working well, you didn't change anything, but it suddenly changed behavior, then it's most likely your ISP has instituted filtering or bandwidth limiting.  :(

Try changing aMule to use different ports.  If that doesn't help, switch to a different ISP.
