wx 2.7, OK to distribute?
« on: July 24, 2006, 11:33:45 PM »

The wxWidgets project released a candidate of wx 2.7 this weekend:

http://biolpc22.york.ac.uk/pub/2.7.0-rc1/

Assuming that there will be a "final" 2.7 release soon, what would be the recommended wx version for a binary distribution of the aMule-2.1 branch for Linux/GTK? The latest and greatest or still preferably the well-tested 2.6.3 release?

2.7 is a deveopment release just like the 2.5 and maybe sometime a 2.7 release of the kernel...

its not the stable one, the stable one will be sometime 2.8 für wx

stefanero, my question was answered in IRC some days ago already.

I'll keep 2.6.3 for the binary packages for now and wait for further input later.
