As I tried to say in French already: What's your Internet Service Provider? In order to help you configuring your connection it's necessary to know upload capacity of your connection, which one'll find on the page of your ISP.

One factor could be that there was a bug in the last two or so Mac releases that would limit your download per source to 3k/s (see here for more details). If you download a bunch of files you could still get a total download speed of 40-50k/s, though.
Anyway, if you want, you can try my latest CVS binary (see my sig) in which that bug is fixed to see if that works better for you.

Otherwise, have you read AMule_is_slow already?

Read the section in that thread that starts with "IMPORTANT:". I know it might seem like I just write all this stuff for the sake of writing something, but in very rare cases it does actually contain relevant information. ;)

Also, just on a side note, the connection speeds that your provider lists are almost certainly specified in kilo- or mega-BIT and not -byte, so to get the proper values for aMule and other apps you need to divide the speed in kilobit per second by 8 to get kilobyte per second.

Please maintain the order, write in Englisch in the Englisch section and open your own thread for your questions.

@thuglife: The 10Gb are your transfer volume, but not your upload speed, aren't they?
In order to help you, we need proper informations.

ThuGLIfE22: what is the connection configuration you have on your amule? It has nothing to do with your ISP, but what you defined on your amule client. in My case I've 10 kb/s upload, 80 kb/s download (just has an example).

Boy, this thread is turning into a huge mess. I just split off these two postings and put them into their own thread.

What are you trying to tell us here? That you still can't get my CVS binary to start or that you are running that version now but are still not getting very good download speeds?

Seriously, if you want us to be able to help you, you need to, first, read more carefully what we write, and second, write a bit more coherently, so that we can actually understand you.

This information should be on the homepage of your provider (=your internet company)
According to your IP your provider is telenet.be, but I couldn't find any 5.5mb/s connection.
les possibilités
Which one is yours?
