Native Encoding (Russian)
« on: August 19, 2006, 03:34:30 PM »

Hello, i'm from Russia and i have some files on my file system with "Russian" names. Also i want to share this files with peoples. But i have problem.
In aMule Russian names displays as set unreadable characters. (Interface of program is Russian and program strings displayed OK )

Of cource files indentified by hash and names is not necessary. But i think that only I have some files and other users will unable to find them.

Debian. Locale koi8-r.

Does anyone can help me?

Sorry for my English.

switch your locale to an UTF8 compatible one, and restart aMule

the ignition and a Post-It note on the dashboard saying, "Please
don't steal this."

No stefanero, he has a point. We force ISO8859-1 in unicode2char/char2unicode.
