Actually I cannot test amule because I haven't linux installed and I have no time to install linux

PS : It's not my real pseudo in other forum because I want to make a surprise :)

Soon is all I can say. Changelog on CVS says 99% ready and I was the one writing it, so, I'll say 'soon'

The windows port of lmule/amule/xmule has been anticipated for almost a year now, but until now, it has been impossible. I say "until now" because we have finally overcome the one and only unportable piece of code in the codebase that has prevented us from doing Mac/win ports - Search page, which was originally written using GTK. 2 days ago I managed to rewrite it using only wxWindows, so it is now portable.

My current timeline is to port aMule to windows during next week, I doubt its going to take more than few days. So, given some testing time, I'd currently say aMule for windows should be finished by the end of next week, if everything goes as planned.

hi!

yep, in a week or so i have some time to help a bit too.

i can do some testing / porting to win32 (w2k)
vc6, vc7 and wx is here.

it runs in vmware thought ;-)

i think it's very important to get more developers familar with the emule codebase
(ak the mod coders) to work on amule. (see my previous posts on this)
this windows port will do exactly this.
