I have a Debian Sarge 3.1r3 updated, on a PIII650E with 256Mo RAM.
caution : the incomming directory of amule is in a samba share ie: //192.168.1.92/miguel/AMULE/incoming
caution : the temp directory of amule is in local harddrive ie: /home/miguel/.aMule/Temp (because if the temp directory is set to a samba share, amule crash every 5min)
amule crash every 4 or 6 hours.
