Compiled new packages of today's tarball, without debug support.

And I even did (some) webdesign...but still optimized for text browsers. ;)

UPnP testing packages: http://wuischke.hateworx.org/amule/

Download the wxGTK 2.8 RC3 package (add /usr/local/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf if not already done), the libupnp 1.4.1 packages (compiled with debug support, thus the big file size) and today's aMule packages you want (amule-common is needed) and test upnp with your router.

Hi! i'm compiling myself wxWidgets-2.8 (final) and amule-cvs on my kubuntu edgy, but when i open amule it crashes (see this http://forum.amule.org/thread.php?threadid=11836&sid= ). If i compile amule with wxWidgets 2.6 (already installed on edgy), it not crashes (only tab bug of that version of wxWidgets).

How are you compiling wxwidgets and amule?

wxGTK 2.8rc3 is (afaik) identical to final, thus I didn't change.

Anyway: wxGTK configure settings: ./configure --enable-unicode --enable-optimize --with-sdl=yes

aMule configure settings; ./configure --enable-optimize --enable-amule-daemon --enable-amulecmd --enable-webserver --disable-debug

Should you encounter any problems use instead: ./configure --enable-amule-daemon --enable-amulecmd --enable-webserver --enable-debug

But this shouldn't make a difference. I recommend you compiling with debug support and post a real backtrace in order to find out what's the problem.

I have the same problem with your packages (wxwidgets, amule....)

Perhaps a problem because i've installed two versions of wxwidgets?

No, I have installed three. - 2.4, 2.6 and 2.8 - but they all have different names and/or are on different locations.

Could you please compile wxgtk and amule with debug support and post a new backtrace without skin file in your other thread?

Let's test those. I had some irregular crashes with the last from 2006, Let's have a look with the last one.

Thanks !

Oh, please report back about these crashes!

I'll build you some debug packages (ok, maybe not before next week) too, if there's a need  to.

Looks like the last one are far more stable than the previous one. I only had two crashes since the install !

New packages (20070119)

BTW: @bill_bool: I can recommend the tomato-firmware for the wrt. It has a nice clean interface and works very well.
