Thanks for the info. I just tested, and it is very nice. Upgrade from hyperwrt went smoothly, and kept most of my settings.

There are currently no new packages. My notebook case is broken (the hardware is working fine, but I'm constructing a new case of wood and this may take a while as I'm lazy) and I currently have to use a 650 Athlon Classic with a 6GB hard drive.

Anyway, as I'm not using Ubuntu anymore I would like to know whether I should keep on building packages or if there's no need.
I would keep on building packages if there's a need for them (as soon as my notebook is running again) - please drop me a mail (see profile for address) or PM if you would like to see new packages.

Thank you for all the help you provided in building those packages, it was very helpful.

I found that there are some packages compiled from CVS on Trevino repository. I just hope they are working as well as yours !

EDIT :
You, bastard, coward running away from us. You're such an awful lazy guy, even worse, you're the evilest guy I've ever heard about.  You should get condamned to produce debs from SVN until your death. Is it a better answer ? ;-))

Wrong answer.

The right answer is: I would like to have these packages, please continue building them.

If I think there's a demand and get my ass up to fix the notebook then I'll set up a VM or chroot and continue building the packages. No big deal for me, it will need some initial work and then it's about executing one script and uploading the packages. :)

Well I can say that the packages are definitely very useful for me, pretty please keep building them if it is not too much effort for you to do!  ;D

How to build a deb package properly is still a bit of a mystery to me.. maybe that got to do with the fact that my script writing skills sux  :)

Good luck to your laptop by the way!

A bit of a side track, anyone been using the VMWare workstation 6 beta?

Short answer: Notebook is running (now more of a display and mainboard on top of a wooden frame) again since last Saturday, but I' not finished setting it up. (I'm writing this on running Windows...installed first due to its ability to run some games...)
Frankly, it may take quite some time until I'll think about building packages again, probably when testing out Feisty. If you're lucky I'll set up a vm earlier, but don't rely on this.

But if you know how to build aMule SVN, you'll have no problems packaging them as well. A cheap checkinstall build will be sufficient. I can offer you hosting and advice with writing the necessary files, but I'm not very experienced with Debian packages either.
