No upload queue, 2000+ filtered
« on: November 07, 2006, 01:47:26 PM »

Hi there,

after migrating my whole system to suse 10.1 I now come to the major part of my 24/7 machine: Running amule. Up to now I ran a Virtual Machine in which I kept all the progs for which I didn't have a replacement yet. Emule (MorphXT) runs fine in there with 300k+ speeds. Normally I only run Kad without any server use. I forwarded the ports from my router to the suse host and from there to the virtual machine in which morph is running. (that explanation only to show that I haven't just started and am NOT looking for basic help)

Now, my distro packed aMule 2.1.3 runs fine, no crashes, high ids in kad and ed2k. links imported and temp files as well. My only problem so far was sucky speed. Diggin into the matter I find a full known clients list, about 5 upload slots at full speed and an empty upload queue. Settings are at 5000, so that can't be the reason. Having a look at the statistics I saw over 2000 filtered contacts vs. like 400 good clients. Obviously that can't be true. Running the same IP and emule in my vm I get tons of good sources and very decent speeds. But since vmware kinda hogs ram after 2-3 days that isn't an optimal solution.

Anybody any ideas why amule doesn't accept any clients on queue?

greetings, rws
