incomplete files
« on: November 30, 2006, 06:24:04 PM »

Help! Can somebody help please?
I'm tired of unloading incomplete files, but what really drives me nuts is the fact that it's always 9.28mb missing.  Am I doing something wrong? Is theresome kind of setting I should put, and I haven`t yet?  I went to the page http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ_...ch_window_mean? and it no longer exists, so I can't really get any answeres there.   ?(

Hi mai!

Your link is invalid (there's a  huge part of it cut out), do you still have the full original link?
Anyway: Files in aMule are separated into parts of 9.28MB (called chunks). Usually a client uploads exactly these 9.28 MB to you.
If the download bar does not contain a red part, then you just need to be patient and wait a bit longer. But if every client misses exactly this part of the file, then it's not very probable to get the full file and you should just cancel the download.
