Amule crash

hi, i know i have post in the french section, but maybe ill get more help here

i have a mac book intel with tiger 10.4.8 and amule 2.1.3

i didn't found any solution to my problem. And im running out of ideas
The ethernet connexion crashes randomly when i DL and i must deconnect then reconnect.

Looks like a wxWidget issue. What version are you using? In any case, I suggest you to use 2.6.3.

ok i just installed wxwidgets 2.6.3 (hard... took me 2 hours :-( )
i did nothing more than this
i will tell you if it worked

Else: shall i compile wxwidgets (i have a mac intel)? or it should work as it is?

Weird, if this crash was indeed related to the spellchecker. Maybe it is related to this issue.

Oops, totally overlooked that second post of yours, lio1986.

Actually, you installing wx should not have any effect at all, because all of our Mac aMule binaries come with a wx install that is bundled inside the aMule application.
What you could do is to try my latest CVS binary (see my signature). That was built against a more recent version of wx.

it didnt worked with the new wxwinget version as u said lionel....
of course i did not remove CarbonSpellChecker

That's because you did not read the instructions in the thread (hint: you need to start that binary from the Terminal with a particular flag). ;)

That is correct. In fact, I'm running an aMule binary that was built against 2.8.0 on my machine. There are however a few bugs that need to be fixed first (I think phoenix already killed one yesterday, but I have not been able to confirm that yet), before I will be able to use wx 2.8.0 for builds that I post here.
