Searching content from web UI
« on: December 28, 2006, 09:26:38 AM »

Hi all,
I've installed amule from a fedora pre-built rpm.
It is connected (as stated by the web ui and the amulecmd) but if i try to search anything on the search panel (using the WeB UI), the result is always empty.
Could somene help me or give me a clue to debug the problem?
Tx

I've used the Fedora RPMs and they work fine, but at one point in the past -- I don't exactly remember when -- the "type" filter in aMuleweb seemed to interfere. Try a search without specifying the file type in the drop-down menu.

Be sure to wait a few seconds before clicking "Refetch Results". If you do a search for a common file name on your local server, it should return dozens if not hundreds of hits.

I've got the same problem ... i rode in a forum that maybe there is a "cryptage" problem between amule and emule... does anyone know about that and how to sove the problem ?
