Manual client blacklisting
« on: January 28, 2007, 09:40:08 PM »

I'm downloading a big file that only 2 people have. And i have this arshole on my queue downloading like crazy off me (the same file). His client hasen't uploaded anything to me. He has a modifiend emule client. I would like amule to have a way to blacklist arsholes like him. The server is not doing.

What's the point in banning it? have you noticed that he has no parts that you don't? he just started downloading the file later, and since your queue is so small, he just advances really fast and that's why he downloads like a crazy only from your client without being able to upload a single byte. And this has been discussed before, and I remember the answer was that manual blacklisting would not be possible simply because of people abusing this feature. (Like you in this case for example).

Regards.
