Please a question, maybe it will be a stupid question but I will do it in all the ways. What about changing ports while amuled is running and router with uPnP?

If we fix amule(d) ports to ports which usually being used for web explorer (for example) and we change ports randomly in that range (1024-4096) as we do if we are viewing web pages (one time for each hour or so)
could be possible avoid ISP traffic shaping? In my country my ISP makes traffic shaping and putting ports in range 1024-4096 avoid traffic shaping when I surfing by the internet. Obviously, if I don't surf by the internet, I don't download nothing.

I think ISP could check traffic type but they preffer don't do it (they are lazy and they prefer doing traffic shaping over all ports which have downloaded a great amount of bytes [that is the reason because ofuscation will not work for me, for example]) But changing ports continuously could work. Maybe if everybody do changing ports online we could do impracticable traffic shaping.

I don't know how it will be from security viewpoint.

If it could be done, it have to be implemented in amulecmd+some linux script or in amule(d) as a option (no idea)

If your provider is examining your traffic, changing ports will not help.

If you change the port, your ID changes, this will enforce a reconnect to the server and also seriously whack up the routing of kad.

Your id doesnt' change - it's calculated from the IP, nor the port. The rest is true, tho.

Thanks to all for replies; but really, my friends, i would prefer leave (a pair of?) ports unhchanged for kad and go changing ports for making downloads. I think is not possible for ISPs check all connections with all protocols for their users (how many? A lot!) I think they will lack if do that or it  will make connections slow (that is not legal for qualitity reasons, but there is no laws about p2p traffic shaping, blocking ...)

Fall ISPs tyranny!! This is a war, and we are a lot of more (maybe we have worse weapons  )

Very match possible. With help of modern routers you can check contents of application protocols independent from port number application uses.

Yes there is. It's called "service contract" in western countries. You have signed one when purchased service of your ISP. Shaping traffic was in your contract - you loose; otherwise take it to nearest court or consumer rights organization. And stop solving legal problem with technical means.

Yeah, I see. Finally I set ports in range 1024-4096 (line quality measures take care if ISP hurt me in that ports) setting upload to 10kb/s I got 2.5Gb per day (very better than I got in last days when ISP started traffic shaping)
