When I close amule, when I open it again the url for ip filtering disappears. It is meant to update the list every time I start amule again, but, I don't see how it can do that if the url has gone. It is wrong, isn't it? Or am I doing something wrong? I always have to search for that url again on the net, then paste it back there again.

Very strange indeed. Take a look at the file amule.conf, wherever it is located on Mac (I use a x86). Try something like this (I don't know the equivalent on Mac):

$ cat ~/.aMule/amule.conf | grep -i IPFilterURL

Then go to aMule, change it to whatever you like and press Ok at the preferences window. Check the file again and see if it has been updated or not. aMule saves this information at the time that the user presses the ok button, not on exit.

Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/aMule (~ is your user directory, e.g. /Users/apple)

I wonder how many times I wrote this already, yet I still have to look it up. (Wrote several howtos in German forums )
But if everything wents fine, I'll have my own shiny ibook/macbook soon.
