Hi,

ich möchte auf meinem kubuntu 6.10 gerne amule laufen lassen.
also habe ich brav (ja, ja, das bin ich) über den adept manager folgende
pakete installiert:
amule-common
amule-daemon

danach habe ich die ~/.amule/amule.conf editiert:

so, dann amule gestartet und http:\\localhost:4711 geöffnet, mit
dem ergebnis, dass ich folgeden fehler bekommen:

No passwords specified, login impossible!

kann mir jemand nen tip geben, wie ich die passwörter richtig eingestellt bekomme?

Hi:

Die remote.conf wird nur gelesen, wenn du amuleweb nicht mit aMule startest. Setze die Passwörter auch in der amule.conf und dein Problem verschwindet.

Hallo,
habe dasselbe Problem... Bei mir kommt auch im amuleweb "No passwords specified, login impossible!".

Ich mochte amule auf einem Debian Sarge Server laufen lassen, ohne gui.

Meine Vorgehensweise:
Ich starte als root den amule-deamon und dann starte ich als User amuleweb. Danach kann ich von einem Client aus das Login Fenster von amule sehen. Doch leider kommt die oben gennante Fehlermeldung...

Welche Passwörter meinst du? Ich habe doch "ECPasswort" gesetzt!?
Ich komm nicht weiter, hab schon alle Varianten ausprobiert...

Versuche nicht das gleiche Passwort für den Gast- und Administratorzugang zu benutzen.

Ich habe den Gast Zugang mit einem anderen Passwort versucht.

Im Webfrontend kommt immer die Fehlermeldung:

Password incorrect, please try again.

Ich habe das Passwort mit: echo -n "mein_passwort" | md5sum | cut -d ' ' -f 1    erstellt.

Irgendwo muss doch derFehler liegen...

Das sollte korrekt sein.

Kannst du bitte mal die cookies löschen, das hilft bei aMuleweb-Problemen relativ oft.

Aber wie verbinde ich mich, über das Webinterface, mit einem Server??? Oder muss ich das über die Console machen???
