Incoming Connection Ubuntu?
« on: May 07, 2007, 12:51:21 AM »

Hi all,
I'm very new to linux and amule.  I just installed it from the repository, ran it and connected.
I can search and find files, but it I try to download, they just sit there, saying 'waiting' under status.
My little globe in the  bottom left has a green arrow pointing up and a yellow arrow pointing down.

I guess this has something to do with iptables/firewalling/ the hi-lo thing.

Can someone help me out here?
#Thanks#

Please search first the forums and the wiki: http://wiki.amule.org. The yellow arrow is related to your firewall, open the UDP port in the same way you did for the TCP port (since you get green arrow). The waiting seems normal to me, check the wiki.

Regards.
