LImit on download speed

Hi,
i use aMule 2.1.2 on Windows and i noticed this problem: i can download (teorically) at 2500 kB/s) and upload at (always teorically) at 40 kB/s. So i fixed the download and upload speed limits respectively at 250 and 25 kB/s. My download speed is always at roughly 100 kB/s ( 25 x 4), but i'm sure that i can download faster. How can i enhance my dl speed without modify the up speed limit?

Hi omi10,

Raising the upload speed will certainly help (See credits in the wiki), but there are some other points to check: http://www.amule.org/wiki/index.php/AMule_is_slow

But in general there's not much you can do to affect the download speed, don't expect too much as 4:1 is already a very good ratio.
